The situation of people in Gaza and Westbank is horrible, and most schools, universities in Gaza have been destroyed. 

Students and academics from Gaza must be given a perspective to continue for some time at outside institutions.

Translation of certificates is expensive, costs for visa must be payed etc. Several students and academics are stranded in Egypt, and could get chances to work in Europe, with the option to return to their home.

For exmaple, a student is an accounting graduate from Al-Aqsa University in Gaza in 2023, currently stranded in Cairo along with several family members, some of whom are research students who we are trying to help leave Cairo to safer locations where they can continue pursuing their studies and received PhDs, until it is safe to return to Gaza. While this is not the case for all institutions in Gaza, many universities ask for paperwork fees that can be exorbitant.

This special fundraising campaign of Science4Peace is meant to help those who urgently need support to pay certificates, visa, and partially travel costs.

Support will be given to people who are known personally by members of S4P.
