Science4Peace: Future of Scientific Cooperation

Future of Scientific Cooperation

We have now send our petition to the CERN and DESY directorates, as well as to the CERN council and the CB chairs of the LHC experiments.

Since there are already plans within the experiments in case of further sanctions after the CERN council meeting, we should discuss our reaction on this and if there are possibilities for a continuation of contacts.

We'll start a discussion on future scientific cooperation and if it is enough to follow and agree to the CERN convention [1]: "The Organization shall have no concern with work for military requirements and the results of its experimental and theoretical work shall be published or otherwise made generally available."
